Merry Christmas everyone!

We have been very busy in Senior Infants during the month of December. We created lots of Christmas artwork- have a look at the pictures!

As well as that we performed a Christmas concert with the boys from Ms Nestor's class in the hall for all of  our families. We had been practising our songs and poems for a long time to get ready for the show. The hall was packed for the show and everyone really enjoyed it!

Having fun with Science!

We were busy for Science week in our class.We did some experiments with M and Ms, you can try this at home! What happens when you put some M and Ms into a bowl filled about a quarter of the way with water??

Castlebar Mitchels visit and new artwork!

Hello again,
We are back at school after our mid-term break and there have been lots of things happening in our class! On Friday 6th November, a few of the Castlebar Mitchels players came in to visit us and they brought the Moclair Cup with them. The Mitchels won the cup after a victory against Breaffy in the County Final. This was the 29th time the Mitchels have won this trophy.

We also did some pictures from the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We coloured the Three Bears and used different types of paper and material to make their bedcovers. Have a look at the pictures!

Happy Halloween!

We had a fantastic time dressing up for Halloween and going on our Wizard Walk.It was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who took part. After the walk, we got to go to a magic show in the hall which everyone loved! We also had some treats in our classroom and played some Halloween games. It was an action packed day.
